”14 August is a day to feel proud about being a part of this nation”
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls !!
Today we all are here to celebrate a very special day for our country, Pakistan. 14 August is a day filled with spirit, joy, pride, and a lot of love for our nation.
A long time ago, Pakistan wasn’t free. We were under the control of Britain. But the brave people of our land, under the guidance of great leaders like Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah wanted our own country where we could live peacefully, can make our own decisions, and live in freedom.
After many sacrifices, on the 14 of August in the year 1947, Pakistan became its own country. We got our independence which was a dream comes true for every Pakistani. That is why this day is super important because it’s when we started making our own choices and shaping our own future.
So, what should we do on 14 August?
Well, 14 August is a day of happiness and unity for all of us. We should wake up early, get dressed, and proudly hoist our beautiful green and white flag with a crescent and a star. Everyone should sing our national anthem with lots of passion.
There are parades and celebrations happening in many places, especially in the capital city, Islamabad. Soldiers in their smart uniforms, and there are colorful floats representing different parts of our country. We get to watch dances and performances that show our unique cultures and traditions. It’s like a function, where everyone is invited!
But Independence Day is not just about having fun. It’s also a time to remember the sacrifices of our ancestors. They worked really hard to give us this freedom, and some even gave their lives. We should be grateful and remember their bravery and sacrifices.
As we celebrate, let’s also think about how we can make our country even better. We can help by being good citizens, by being kind to each other, and by working hard in our schools and surroundings. Every little effort counts, and together, we can make Pakistan stronger and more united.
So, my friends, let’s wave our flags with pride, let’s sing our anthem with love, and don’t forget that we are all part of this amazing country called Pakistan. Happy Independence Day to all of you!
Thank you.
